The Conference
The 10th symposium on Solar Thermal Concentrating Technologies
will be held in Sydney (Australia) from Wednesday 8 to Friday 10 March
2000. It is the first time that this biennial conference will be held in
Australia and the Australian SolarPACES consortium is looking forward to
welcome you to this unique part of the world. The conference will bring
you up-to-date on international progress of solar thermal power technologies
and project developments as well as on solar chemical energy conversion.
There will be an emphasis on actual hardware and practical applications
of the research material and interaction with representatives from the
electricity utilities and other industry sectors. All solar thermal concentrating
technologies will be covered, including dishes, parabolic troughs, towers,
solar furnaces and other devices.
